Ellie Diercks, P.T.A., earned her physical therapy assistant degree from the College of St. Catherine’s.  Her special interests include geriatrics.

 

Emily Flaan, P.T., earned her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth.  Her special interests include vestibular rehabilitation, orthopedics/sports medicine, and pediatrics.

 

Kerry Finne, P.T., earned her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the College of Saint Scholastica.  Her special interests include vestibular rehabilitation and balance.

 

Carol Gardner, P.T., earned her physical therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  Her special interests include the women’s health issues of osteoporosis, pre-and post-natal health, incontinence and pelvic pain.  Other areas of special interest are home health, orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation and acute care therapy.

 

Paul Irwin, P.T. /A.T.C., earned his Master’s degree in physical therapy from Washington University.  His special interests include sports medicine and general orthopedics.

 

Laurie Johnson, P.T., earned her Master’s in physical therapy from the Mayo School of Physical Therapy.  Her special interests include wound care and general orthopedics.

 

Christine Sachs, D.P.T., earned her Doctor of physical therapy from the University of North Dakota.  Her special interests include general orthopedics.

 

Justin Staker, P.T., earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Mayo School of Physical Therapy.  He is certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Clinical Specialist in Sports Medicine.

 

Patty Svien, P.T., earned her degree in physical therapy from Mayo School of Physical Therapy.  Her special interests include geriatrics.

 

Courtney Streit, D.P.T., earned her Doctor of physical therapy degree from Creighton University.  Her special interests include orthopedics, pediatrics, and cardiac rehab. 

 

Barbara Westby, P.T.A., earned her associate of applied science certificate in physical therapy from St. Mary’s Junior College.  Her special interests include cardiac rehab, inpatient and outpatient care.


Athletic Trainers
Prevention, assessment and treatment of sports injuries.

 

Amanda Kingzett, A.T.C., earned her athletic training degree from North Dakota State University.  In addition to her work at the Medical Center, she covers Red Wing High School and athletic events and training room as well as youth events.

 

Kathy Rahman, A.T.C., earned her athletic training degree from the University of Minnesota – Moorhead.  In addition to her work at the Medical Center, she covers Red Wing High School athletic events and training room as well as youth events.


Occupational Therapists
Helping individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives.

 

Amy Deneen, O.T.R., earned her Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the College of St. Catherine.  Her special interests include geriatrics.

 

Jill Kaiser, O.T.R., earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine.  Her special interests include office ergonomics, back health, prework screening and overall health for employees.

 

Keith Kaiser, O.T.R., earned his Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota.  His special interests include cardiac rehab, home health and pediatrics.

 

“Darcy” Nancy Olson, O.T.R., earned her Master’s of Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine.  Darcy is certified in treatment of lymphedema and specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.  She is also trained in industrial rehabilitation. 

 

Carrie Preussner, O.T.R., earned her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree at the College of Saint Scholastica.  Carrie is certified in treatment of lymphedema and specializes in hand therapy, low vision and driver evaluation.

 

Jill Warren, O.T.R., earned her Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Minnesota.  Jill is certified in neurodevelopment treatment and specializes in geriatric and neurological impairments.


Speech Therapist
Treatment to improve speech, language, voice and swallowing for all ages.

 

Deborah Howard, S.L.P., earned her Master’s of Science degree in teaching and communicative disorders from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.  Her special interests include stroke rehabilitation, swallowing therapy and working with voice disorders.


Massage Therapists
Promotion of health and well-being through a variety of massage techniques.

 

Lynn Boser, C.M.T., received her training and national certification from Northern Lights School of Massage Therapy in Minneapolis, MN.  Lynn has been trained in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, pregnancy, Swedish massage, chair massage, reflexology, positional release and myofascial release techniques.  Her areas of interest include prenatal massage, seated chair massage, and massage for hospice.

 

Ivy Conrad, C.M.T., received her training at MNSC-Southeast Tech with a diploma in Therapeutic Massage Therapy.  Ivy has training in deep tissue, myofascial release and unwinding, trigger point therapy, acupressure, Swedish massage, reflexology, and reiki.  Her areas of interest include prenatal and infant massage, geriatric massage, sports massage and seated chair massage.
