Fairview Red Wing employees have access to a comprehensive benefits program as part of your total compensation. Our benefits are provided to full-time employees as well as part-time employees. While eligibility may vary by your employee group and the hours you are regularly scheduled to work, we provide the following to most employees who are authorized to work at least 48 hours every two weeks:
• Health insurance— includes single, single +1 and family coverage levels.
• Dental insurance— includes single, single +1 and family coverage levels.
• Life insurance—fully paid coverage for you, with the option to purchase additional coverage for you and your family members.
• Domestic partner coverage—available for health and dental coverage.
• Pension plan—fully paid by Fairview Red Wing. This is available to employees who are at least 21 years of age and have worked for Fairview for one year, with at least 1000 hours of service. Contributions under this plan are five percent of salary up to $17,700 and nine percent of salary above $17,700.
• 401(k) — available if you wish to supplement Fairview Red Wing’s contributions toward your retirement, out of pre-tax money.
• Pre-tax spending accounts—allow you to save money on a pre-tax basis to pay for day care and un-reimbursed medical expenses.
• Tuition Reimbursement—Fairview Red Wing pays 75% of books and tuition, up to a maximum or $2,000 per year for pre-approved, job related course work. Employees must agree to work at Fairview Red Wing for one year after completion of course work.
• Disability insurance—fully paid for by Fairview Red Wing for many employee groups, including some part-time employees.
