Your care team includes physicians, nurses, a care manager and other staff including nutrition, social work, spiritual health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and respiratory therapy. In addition we have a hospitalist working full-time to work with the care team to make sure your care is coordinated and consistent.

General Surgery
Laparoscopic surgery is the newest innovation in the field of general surgery.  The surgeon uses a tiny camera to operate inside the body through a small, lighted telescope connected to a video monitor.  Because incisions are very small, laparoscopic surgery usually means it can be done on an outpatient basis and recovery time will be faster.  Many procedures can now be done in this manner including:
