Busy families now have another option for medical care. Fairview Red Wing is now operating an Express Care Clinic in the new Coburn Superstore in Hastings.

The clinic is staff by certified nurse practioners and physician assistants. The format is designed to provide quick and affordable medical care for minor illnesses, injuries and certain skin conditions. No appointment is necessary and patients are treated on a first-come, first-served basis. A typical visit takes about 15 minutes.

Eric Wirta, Fairview Red Wing PA, will be one of the providers staffing the clinic. “We are family practice providers. We can serve the entire family and can write prescriptions when needed,” says Eric.

The following conditions can be treated at the Express Care Clinic.

Fairview Express Care is open Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some insurance plans are accepted and the clinic will accept cash, credit, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

The clinic is located next to the pharmacy in the Coborns Superstore. Coburn’s is located in the former Wal-Mart building on Highway 316 in Hastings.
